Mary grew up in the remote Native village of Yakutat. Leaving her home town to study film in New York was the beginning of a 12 year odyssey which included film projects in Florida, Texas and  Hawaii. Returning to Southeast Alaska was a chance for her to bring this experience back home. 

Raised in the flat lands of the midwest, Dave had graduated from a digital cinema program and cut his teeth shooting TV ads in Chicago. It was the call of the mountains that inspired him to drive 5 days north to point cameras at Alaska’s rugged terrain. Once he arrived he was hooked.

Mary and Dave met in Sitka in 2013 as camera operators documenting emergency rescues from Coast Guard Helicopters on an American Documentary Reality TV show, Coast Guard Alaska. The decision to team up and start their own production company was born from a shared desire to showcase the stories of the people who live in such an extraordinary land. The videos they produce allow people anywhere in the world to watch and experience the culture of Southeast Alaska.
